Welcome to the official site of Project Santa, an annual fundraiser that benefits the South Plainfield Volunteer Fire Department!

We all know Santa is a busy man during the holiday season, but he is taking some time away from the North Pole to help the members of the South Plainfield Fire Department spread some holiday cheer, and help deliver some early Christmas presents to the good boys and girls in the borough of South Plainfield!

This year, we are trying something different.  We have partnered with the South Plainfield Public Celebrations Committee where we will be escorting Santa through a special Holiday Light Parade!

HERE'S HOW IT WILL WORK THIS YEAR:

  • The parade is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, December 5th at 5:00pm (rain date Sunday, December 12th)

  • The parade route will start at the high school parking lot, travel down Lane Avenue, and will end at Borough Hall on Plainfield Avenue

  • The South Plainfield High School Marching Band will lead off, followed by the FD escorting Santa to Borough Hall for the annual tree lighting ceremony

  • All are welcome to attend

  • Donations are always appreciated.  Donations can be made on the home page of our website
