On Monday September 10,the SPVFD was invited to attend a special meeting with Governor Christie at his residence. Those in attendance were Chief Scalera, Chief Mocharski and Captain Reed. Along with our members several other fire companies had officers in attendance. The Governor thanked all volunteer firefighters for their work in their respective communities. A brief question and answer period was held as well.
