Timothy Gray has been placed on the active roll call for the Fire Department. He will be attending Firefighter training in September at the Middlesex County Fire Academy. Ryan Szumski and Chris Spayder, two Junior Fire Department members have completed their basic training and have been placed into the observer program. In the observer program young Firefighters between the ages of 16 and 18 have the ability to respond to the fire calls and assist at the fire scene while gaining valuable knowledge of the fire scene operations. Effective April 3, 2007 three new members have been placed on the active rolls of the Fire Department. All three of these members have previous firefighting experience and have been State of New Jersey Firefighter 1 certified.
